Does it sound un-scientific

How do archetypes exactely provoque macro mutations in DNA? We will never be able to prove it ! Even if we were to witness the unfolding of a a new genera, we could deduct from our observations that «something» is going on, but could never pinpoint what this «something» is. Does it sound un-scientific?
